We're looking for a car for Katy. We've been looking ALL SUMMER!! She has saved $2500 over the last 3 years.Honda, Toyota, Nissan--
This is a daily search. Looking on craigslist, classifieds every day!
Then there is the incessant parking lots, sidestreets, word of mouth, etc.!
Any ideas? Her senior year begins 3 weeks from today!!! HELP! :o)

I needed to read your post twice. Then I got it, Katie wants to buy a REAL car! My first read through made me think that she had 2,500 toy cars, and was still looking for particular types to add to a collection before her senior year!!!! That will teach me to skim read. I'm sure that she is looking forward to "the real deal".
Yes, annonymous (btw, would love to know who you are!!), a real car! Any suggestions to share?
I for one am partial to Honda and then Toyota, though Nissan is also up there (Donica's truck is a Nissan). Even an old car of those brands should be good for her, as opposed to American (sad, but true). Good luck!
BTW, I took Nicholas to see "Cars" last Friday (his 2nd time, my first) and loved it. Cute, cute, cute!
